Giving Back to Our Home Waters

Giving Back to Our Home Waters

Conservation and community are pillars of Dan Bailey's Outdoor Company. In addition to our mission of helping people enjoy the great outdoors, we are committed to the communities of Livingston and Park County as well as the wildlife and wild places that surround us.

Dan Bailey fought relentlessly to protect the Yellowstone River from multiple threats throughout his lifetime. To this day, we still enjoy the benefits of the visionary, tireless work he and others fought so hard for. We still live along the longest un-dammed river in the lower 48 states, and our communities are connected by a collective awareness of how precious and valuable the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem is.

We too have a responsibility to pay it forward, to protect this special place we call home.

To that end, $50 of every fly fishing guide trip goes into a fund. At the end of every season, this money goes to multiple conservation efforts that help to preserve and protect the Yellowstone River and surrounding area.

The organizations we contributed to from our 2025 guide trips include:

Thank you to every angler who booked a trip with us last year. We hope to fish with you again soon.

And thank you to every person in Livingston and Park County working to leave this place better than we found it.
