There is not much new to report other than we’ve all been skiing as much as possible lately, trying to make the most of what winter we’re having. One thing is for certain: how good we all feel being on the snow.
In the past week, our staff has been at Bridger Bowl, Showdown, and in the backcountry near Cooke City. Dale and his daughter, Palen, get the award for most distance traveled, having skied Lookout Pass last Sunday. The conditions were really good and snow was in the air all day long.
As of last Saturday, B Bar opened their cross country ski trails. A really good excuse to head up that way this Saturday is the B Bar Ramshorn Classic — a winter celebration and fundraiser for Park County Environmental Council. Lots of fun stuff happening up there on Saturday.
Sounds like more snow in the forecast for later next week...yippee!
