This moderately difficult hike is on the western side of the Crazy Mountains. The trailhead is accessed via Cottonwood Creek Road immediately north of Clyde Park. Your curiosity and desire to see more will keep you moving along up to the lake as each step provides a new and exciting vantage. For mountain biking enthusiasts, the double track makes for excellent riding and cuts the trip time down, especially on the way out. Remember to tread lightly and leave no trace.
